Cholamandalam MS General Insurance has appointed Parthasarathi V as head-HR business partner, strengthening its leadership bench as it sharpens focus on business-aligned people strategy and HR execution.
In his new role, Parthasarathi will work closely with business leaders across the organisation to align people practices with business outcomes. His responsibilities span talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, HR service delivery, and capability building. The role is central to embedding HR more deeply into decision-making as the company continues to grow in a competitive insurance landscape.
Parthasarathi brings over two decades of HR experience across insurance, healthcare services, and IT-enabled services. Most recently, he was associated with Kotak Life Insurance for more than nine years, where he held multiple leadership roles, including senior vice president and channel HR head. In these roles, he led HR strategy across business channels, strengthening talent frameworks and enabling performance across regions.
Earlier, as AVP – zonal HR for South India, he managed talent acquisition and talent management across key states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, overseeing HR delivery across a large branch network. His experience also includes roles at AGS Health, where he led talent-engagement initiatives, and at Infosys BPO, where he spent over a decade managing end-to-end HR processes and workforce planning.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Parthasarathi is known for building high-performance teams and aligning HR strategy with business priorities. He has led large-scale people initiatives and partnered closely with senior leadership to drive organisational effectiveness.
The appointment reflects Cholamandalam MS General Insurance’s continued investment in strengthening HR capabilities to support growth, agility, and workforce transformation.
