Iris Software has elevated Saurabh Agarwal to the role of director, HR, marking another milestone in his nearly 18-year career in human resources across the technology and engineering sectors. In his new role, he will continue to drive the company’s people strategy, partnering with business leaders on talent management, workforce planning, organisational development and leadership capability as Iris Software continues to expand its technology workforce.
Agarwal has been with Iris Software since 2021, when he joined as senior manager-HR business partner. Over the past four years, he has steadily progressed through key leadership roles, before taking on his new position.
Before joining Iris Software, Agarwal held HR leadership positions at Landis+Gyr, Kronos, 3Pillar Global and Aptara. Across these roles, he gained extensive experience in HR business partnering, employee engagement, learning and development, rewards and recognition, diversity and inclusion, change management and organisational effectiveness.
During his tenure at Landis+Gyr, he served as senior HR business partner for the global research and development centre, where he led HR initiatives across engineering and technology functions while also heading learning and development and rewards and recognition for India. Earlier, at Kronos, he partnered with product, technology, cloud and sales teams, besides leading diversity and inclusion initiatives and employee-engagement programmes.
His earlier assignments at 3Pillar Global and Aptara focused on strengthening employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, onboarding and HR operations.
As per his social media, Agarwal describes himself as an HR business partner focused on aligning people strategies with business outcomes. His expertise spans business partnering, talent management, organisational development, employee engagement and leadership coaching.
His elevation reflects Iris Software’s emphasis on developing internal leadership talent as organisations increasingly expect HR leaders to play a strategic role in business transformation, workforce planning and capability building.
