Reliance Foundation has roped in Suman Singh as its new vice president and head-human resources. In her new role, Singh will lead the foundation’s HR strategy, focusing on culture transformation, leadership development, and workforce excellence to support its mission of building an inclusive and high-performing organisation.
Singh joins Reliance Foundation from Vodafone Idea, where she served as vice president – human resources (technology and IT). During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in workforce planning, talent mobility and driving large-scale cultural- transformation initiatives during critical restructuring phases. Her strategic approach helped align people priorities with business goals, fostering agility and innovation across the enterprise. She joined the company in 2021.
Her association with the Reliance Group goes back to her earlier stint at Reliance Industries in 2013. At the time she managed HR functions across manufacturing, technology, and R&D. She was instrumental in strengthening leadership pipelines and enhancing employee engagement across business verticals.
Before that, she held key roles at SBI Life Insurance, where she built deep expertise in talent acquisition, learning and organisational development. Her expertise lies in building inclusive, future-ready workplaces where people feel empowered, engaged and inspired to perform at their best.
An alumna of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Singh is known for her people-first leadership philosophy and her focus on creating empowering workplaces where individuals and organisations grow together.
