Duroflex Group has appointed Arkadeb Chakraborty as its new chief human resources officer. The move is aligned with the company’s efforts to strengthen its leadership team as it prepares for its next phase of growth.
With over 16 years of experience spanning business and human resources leadership roles, Chakraborty brings a strong track record in building scalable people systems and leading transformation initiatives. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping Duroflex Group’s people strategy, with a sharp focus on talent excellence, governance frameworks, and developing future-ready organisational capabilities. His appointment is part of Duroflex Group’s focus on bringing top industry talent to its leadership bench to support the company’s next
phase of growth. In his new role, he will lead the people strategy with a focus on talent excellence,
governance and strengthening future-ready capabilities of the organisation.
Prior to joining Duroflex, Chakraborty was associated with Darwinbox as director – customer success (Growth Accounts). In this role, he led large-scale HR technology transformations for high-growth enterprises, managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio and partnering closely with CXOs on adoption, value realisation, and long-term engagement. He also undertook a pro bono advisory role with a bootstrapped D2C brand, supporting people and growth strategy.
Earlier, as CHRO at Capital Foods, Chakraborty played a key role in driving people-led transformation and supported the organisation through its acquisition by Tata Consumer Products, ensuring smooth integration and continuity. His career includes extensive stints with the Godrej Group, where he held leadership roles across sales and manufacturing HR. At Godrej Consumer Products, he led HR for the SAARC region and India sales, managing complex workforce agendas across geographies, while at Godrej Agrovet, he headed talent acquisition and campus hiring during a high-growth phase.
Chakraborty began his career with roles at Ruchi Soya Industries, Welspun Corp, ICICI Bank, and Escorts Group, building deep expertise across talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, and capability building.
