Thomas Cook (India) has announced the elevation of Deepti Sheth as president and group head – human resources. The move reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening leadership depth and aligning its people strategy with long-term business growth.

In her new role, Sheth will oversee HR across the Group, with a mandate to drive talent strategy, leadership development and employee experience. She will also play a key role in advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives, along with digital-transformation efforts within the HR function.

Her elevation follows a decade-long journey within the organisation, where she has contributed to building strong HR systems and embedding people practices aligned with evolving business needs. Prior to this role, she served as senior vice president and head-HR, SOTC Travel, where she worked closely on integrating HR with business priorities and strengthening leadership pipelines.

With over 20 years of experience, Sheth brings expertise in talent management, organisational development and culture building. Her work has consistently focused on creating agile teams and enabling high-performance work environments. She has also received several industry recognitions, including honours at the World HRD Congress and other leadership awards.

“I am honoured to take on this role at an exciting phase for the Thomas Cook India Group,” she said. “As we scale, our focus will be on building dynamic, future-ready teams, strengthening leadership capability and creating a differentiated employee experience that supports sustained growth,” she added.
