EvoluteIQ has appointed Abhinaya S R as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company scales its global operations and talent strategy. In her new role, Abhinaya will lead the company’s global people strategy, organisational design and talent architecture.

She will focus on building scalable people practices, strengthening leadership capability and aligning culture with the company’s technology-led growth ambitions. Her mandate will be to build a culture where people grow alongside the technology.

Abhinaya brings more than two decades of global HR- leadership experience across high-growth technology and consulting organisations, with expertise spanning organisational development, strategic operations, leadership enablement and culture transformation across India, APAC and globally- distributed teams.

Prior to joining EvoluteIQ, she served as head-people, India & APAC at Abnormal AI, where she led the regional people agenda in a global matrix environment, scaling teams in an AI-native ecosystem while strengthening employer branding, leadership capability and people operations across APAC.

Earlier, at Soroco, she worked as head-people & talent and was part of the management team shaping the company’s global HR function and culture strategy. Her work there focused on hiring, rewards and recognition, employee engagement and talent branding to support international growth.

Abhinaya has also held independent advisory and organisational development roles with women-led start-ups and non-profit organisations, including AnitaB.org and Wequity, where she worked on leadership enablement, operations design and strategic capability building.

A significant part of her career was spent at Thoughtworks, where she served in leadership roles including Director – Strategic Talent & Planning and Head of People – Global & India. As part of the executive leadership team, she helped remodel the HR organisation during a key phase of growth, partnering with stakeholders across more than 10 countries to scale culture, operations and leadership practices.

Earlier in her career, she spent over nine years with Infosys across multiple HR leadership positions spanning business partnering, organisational development, engagement and compliance, including supporting post-acquisition HR transformation initiatives in Australia.
