Golyan Group has named Anushree Tamrakar as head-human resources, promoting an experienced internal leader to head the people function as the Nepal-based conglomerate continues to expand its diversified businesses. In her new role, Tamrakar will lead the group’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, leadership development, organisational capability, workforce planning, and culture transformation to support long-term business growth.
Tamrakar joined Golyan Group in 2024 as general manager–human resources, where she played a key role in strengthening the company’s HR function and advancing its people agenda.
With nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, business partnering, and organisational development, Tamrakar has built expertise across strategic workforce planning, organisational restructuring, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, HR transformation, and people strategy. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked closely with business leaders to build value-driven organisations and strengthen workplace culture.
Prior to joining Golyan Group, she served as HR strategic business partner at Coca-Cola Beverages Nepal for over two years, partnering with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational priorities and strengthen workforce effectiveness.
Earlier, she worked as an independent human resource consultant, advising organisations on HR strategy and organisational development.
A significant part of her career was spent at Huawei, where she served for more than 12 years. She progressed from senior human resources manager to human resource consultant, leading HR business partnering, organisation design, workforce management, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee engagement, HR policies, and organisational restructuring initiatives.
She began her professional career as an assistant relationship manager at Laxmi Sunrise Bank, gaining experience in retail banking and customer relationship management before transitioning into human resources.
Tamrakar holds an MBA from the Kathmandu University School of Management.
