Apotex Inc. has appointed Bina Gill as human resources director, strengthening its HR leadership team as the company continues to expand its global healthcare operations and invest in workforce capability.

Based in Toronto, Gill steps into the role with more than a decade of progressive experience across talent management, leadership development, culture transformation and organisational change. In her new position, she will support Apotex’s people strategy, with a focus on talent development, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and business growth.

Before joining Apotex, Gill spent nearly three years with Mondel?z International, where she held multiple HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as human resources manager, talent & leadership development, leading initiatives focused on leadership pipeline development, succession planning and capability building. Prior to that, she was human resources manager, change & culture, helping drive culture-transformation programmes and organisational change initiatives across the business.

Earlier in her career, Gill spent close to nine years with Magna International, steadily progressing through multiple HR positions. Her journey at the automotive supplier began as a human resources intern and advanced through roles including human resources administrative assistant, human resources coordinator, human resources generalist, senior human resources generalist and group human resources manager.

During her tenure at Magna, she gained extensive experience across employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership coaching and HR operations. Her progression through the organisation reflected a strong track record of developing people-focused strategies and supporting business transformation.

Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College.

Her appointment comes as Apotex continues to strengthen its position as a global pharmaceutical company focused on expanding access to affordable medicines and healthcare solutions.
