Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has named Arijit Das as head-HR for Russia, expanding his leadership mandate into a key international market for the company. In his new role, Das will lead the people agenda in Russia, focusing on strengthening team capability, driving talent development and shaping organisational culture in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Prior to this appointment, he served as group HR head for APAC, Emerging Markets Headquarters and Innovative Assets at Dr Reddy’s, where he led people strategy across high-growth markets and worked closely with business leaders to align HR priorities with organisational goals.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Das took on the Russia HR head role in March 2026, following a short but strategic stint in the group HR leadership position based in Hyderabad.
He brings over a decade of HR experience spanning pharmaceuticals and FMCG, with a strong grounding in business partnering, rewards and talent management. Before rejoining Dr Reddy’s in a leadership capacity, Das worked at Mondel?z International, where he led HR for sales across North and East India, as well as Nepal and Bangladesh, supporting large, distributed teams in complex market environments.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Cipla in multiple roles, including associate director and head-HR for alternate channels and speciality businesses, as well as zonal HR leadership roles. During this period, he managed HR for large employee bases across multiple regions, including overseeing HR business partnering for hundreds of managers and handling global compensation and mobility programmes.
His earlier career includes roles at ITC and Hindalco Industries, along with participation in the Aditya Birla Group’s HR leadership programme, which focuses on building future HR leaders through cross-functional exposure.
Das’s cross-sector experience—spanning pharmaceuticals, FMCG and industrial environments—positions him to navigate the complexities of managing talent and culture in an international market like Russia, particularly at a time when companies are adapting to shifting regulatory, economic and workforce dynamics.
His appointment reflects Dr Reddy’s continued emphasis on strengthening global HR leadership as it expands its footprint across international markets.
