Siddharth Nag has been elevated to senior director-human resources at Xpressbees (BusyBees Logistics Solutions), expanding his mandate across the company’s B2C, B2B, Line Haul and 3PL businesses.
In his expanded role, Nag will lead HR strategy, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement and leadership development, while also driving people transformation and data-led workforce optimisation.
Nag has been with Xpressbees since July 2024, most recently serving as director-human resources, and learning & development. In that role, he led hiring strategy across the company’s B2C, B2B and 3PL verticals, managing workforce requirements of more than 3,000 hires a month.
His mandate also covered recruitment operations, manpower planning, vendor and payroll coordination, HR business partnering and workforce productivity. On the L&D side, he worked on digital learning, frontline capability building, training programmes and AI-enabled learning initiatives.
Before joining Xpressbees, Nag co-founded ProRider (Delivery Jobwala), a manpower hiring and performance-marketing platform focused on connecting last-mile companies with delivery riders. He was involved in product development, fundraising and client acquisition before exiting the venture in July 2024.
He also spent close to a year as director of operations at Delhivery, where he worked with ground operations and last-mile leadership on workforce requirements across 2,000 cities. His responsibilities included manpower vendor networks, recruitment drives, cost optimisation and building a stable rider ecosystem.
Nag’s experience with large frontline workforces extends to Reliance Retail, where he served as national head of learning & development. He led the L&D function for more than 4,000 employees and oversaw training for a blue-collar rider fleet of more than 90,000.
Earlier, at WorkIndia, he served as national business head, handling pan-India operations, sourcing strategies, revenue and P&L, unit economics and client acquisition.
A significant part of Nag’s career was spent with Swiggy, where he moved through operations and central strategy roles. As senior manager-central strategy, he worked across operations and recruitment for 220 cities, with responsibilities that included large-scale rider hiring, vendor and payroll management, manpower planning and sourcing strategy. Earlier, he handled regional rider hiring and retention, training and new-city launches.
Nag began his career in hospitality with Taj Hotels, where he worked in guest services, grievance management and training, before moving to Subway India as regional manager-learning & development. At Subway, his responsibilities spanned recruitment, training, employee engagement, audits, operations and franchisee management.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from the University of Huddersfield.
The elevation at Xpressbees brings together the two defining strands of Nag’s career—large-scale workforce operations and people leadership. His expanded mandate places him at the intersection of hiring, productivity, capability building and HR transformation as the logistics company scales across multiple business verticals.
