Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) have announced SV Sathyam as director-people & culture. The move reinforces the organisations’ focus on building a strong people-centric foundation across both properties.
In his new role, Sathyam will take charge of talent management, workforce planning, HR operations, and culture-led initiatives. His mandate includes improving employee engagement, strengthening retention strategies, and shaping development programmes that prepare teams for future growth. Additionally, he will also work closely with the leadership to ensure that people practices support the long-term business strategy.
This appointment is significant as it marks a return for Sathyam, who previously contributed to the growth of Novotel Hyderabad Airport. He joined the company in 2014 as its director-talent & culture.
Over the years, he has built extensive experience in hospitality HR, with a track record of nurturing inclusive environments, implementing learning frameworks, and driving organisational transformation. He has worked with several other organisations such as Accor and Ramada.
At NHCC, Sathyam is expected to focus on building collaborative workplaces, advancing leadership pipelines, and elevating service culture through structured people initiatives. His expertise lies in talent approaches and fostering high-performance teams.
With this appointment, NHCC and HICC aim to deepen their people-first philosophy, ensuring that colleagues remain empowered, engaged, and aligned with the organisation’s vision for growth and service quality.
