Amazon has elevated Preeti Tiwari to the role of HR leader for EU Prime & Marketing, marking another milestone in her nearly decade-long career with the e-commerce and technology giant.
Tiwari announced the development through a LinkedIn post, sharing that she has transitioned from supporting Amazon’s Payments organisation to leading the people agenda for the company’s Prime and Marketing businesses in Europe.
Based in Luxembourg, Tiwari currently serves as principal HR at Amazon and brings more than 20 years of experience across human resources, organisational development, talent strategy and workforce transformation.
She has spent close to 10 years at Amazon, holding a series of leadership positions across geographies and business functions. Prior to her latest assignment, she served as benefits operations leader for EMEA, Latin America and Canada, where she led employee benefits strategy, governance and operational transformation initiatives across multiple regions.
Earlier, she headed HR for Amazon Customer Service operations in Hyderabad and Coimbatore, overseeing people strategy for more than 6,000 employees and leading a team of HR business partners. During this period, she also played a significant role in advancing inclusion and diversity initiatives across customer service operations in India.
Before joining Amazon, Tiwari spent over six years with Schlumberger, holding HR leadership roles across India, Myanmar, Vietnam and the Middle East. She managed workforce planning, organisational design, talent development and employee relations during periods of both rapid growth and business transformation in the energy sector.
Her earlier career includes assignments with Amdocs, Eureka Forbes and JSW Steel, where she gained experience across compensation and benefits, talent management, learning and development, and HR operations.
Tiwari holds a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Modern Management, Pune, and a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
