Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has appointed Pramath Nath as its chief people officer (CPO), strengthening its leadership team. Nath brings nearly three decades of experience across the energy, consulting, technology, retail, hospitality and pharmaceutical sectors.
In his new role, Nath will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on talent management, leadership development, organisational transformation, culture, governance and building a future-ready workforce to support AESL’s growth ambitions.
Prior to this appointment, he served as chief human resources officer at Adani Green Energy, where he led the people agenda for one of India’s largest renewable-energy companies.
Before joining the Adani Group, Nath spent more than three years at GE Power, initially serving as HR & CSR Leader-South Asia, Steam Power, before being elevated to CHRO -Asia Pacific & India, Steam Power. During his tenure, he drove HR strategy, leadership development, organisational transformation, and people initiatives across the region.
Earlier, he spent over six years at KPMG India, where he joined as director – human resources in 2013 and was later promoted to executive director, leading strategic HR initiatives, leadership development, and organisational capability building.
A significant part of his career was with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he served for more than six and a half years in roles including centre HR head and global talent manager. He led global talent management, succession planning, and leadership development for senior executives, including several CXOs reporting to the global CEO.
Prior to HP, he worked briefly with Reliance Retail as HR manager and earlier served as HR manager at The Oberoi, Bengaluru, where he strengthened his expertise in hospitality HR and people management.
He began his career in 1997 as personnel officer with the Cosme Mathias Menezes Group, before joining Blue Cross Labs as personnel and administration executive, laying the foundation for his long career in human resources.
Nath is well-known for his deep expertise in strategic HR, organisational transformation, leadership development, stakeholder management, governance, change management, coaching, and future-ready workforce strategies. He is also a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
An alumnus of Ramjas College, University of Delhi, Nath also studied law at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.
