Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has appointed Saurabh Sharma as executive director (human resources), effective 11 May, 2026, strengthening its leadership team as the organisation sharpens focus on workforce resilience, organisational agility and long-term capability building.
In the new role, Sharma is expected to play a key role in strengthening HR systems, enhancing employee-welfare initiatives and building a future-ready workforce aligned with the organisation’s long-term operational and strategic priorities. With more than three decades of experience in the Indian power sector, Sharma brings deep expertise in strategic human resource management and organisational development. Over the course of his career, he has worked extensively across industrial relations, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development and workforce strategy within large-scale industrial and energy organisations.
