Godrej Capital has roped in Shuchi Aroraa as its new head of human resources, effective October 2025. The announcement was made through a post on her professional social-media profile earlier this month.

Aroraa brings with her more than 15 years of experience across leading organisations in the banking and consulting sectors. Before joining Godrej Capital, she was associated with HSBC for nearly six years. She joined the company in 2020 as its vice president and her responsibilities spanned talent management, organisational development, and people strategy.

Prior to HSBC, Aroraa worked with Aon as an HR consultant, advising businesses on performance management and talent solutions.

Her earlier career includes key roles at ICICI Bank, DCM Shriram, and Infosys, where she gained extensive experience across multiple facets of HR. According to her professional profile, Aroraa is a seasoned HR consultant with a strong background in the financial services industry. Her core expertise spans rewards and performance management, organisational design, and change management.

An alumna of the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Aroraa holds an MBA in human resources. Before that she earned a  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology.

With Aroraa’s appointment, Godrej Capital is expected to further strengthen its people strategy, focusing on building an agile workforce to support its ambitious growth plans in India’s evolving financial services landscape.
