Systematix Group has roped in Mitali Chitnis as chief human resources officer, as the financial services group sharpens its focus on culture, leadership depth and long-term organisational growth. She joins Systematix Group with nearly two decades of experience in senior human resources leadership roles, primarily across financial services, wealth management and asset management organisations, along with exposure to diversified corporate environments.
In her new role, Chitnis will be responsible for driving the group’s overarching people and talent strategy, with a mandate spanning organisational culture, employee experience, leadership development, rewards frameworks and HR governance across Systematix Group’s businesses. Her role will also involve aligning people practices closely with business priorities as the group continues to scale in an increasingly competitive and regulated financial services landscape.
Prior to joining Systematix Group, Chitnis served as CHRO at FundsIndia, where she played a key role in shaping people strategy during periods of growth and organisational change. She also led HR for FundsIndia Private Wealth, strengthening leadership capability and talent frameworks within the firm’s wealth management business.
Her career includes senior HR leadership roles at Fisdom, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, and Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India), where she headed HR for the India operations and its subsidiary entities. Across these roles, she worked closely with business leaders on talent acquisition, organisational development, leadership pipelines, total rewards and compliance, supporting organisations navigating scale, transformation and evolving workforce expectations.
Earlier in her career, Chitnis held HR leadership positions at ASK Group, Reliance Capital, Mahindra & Mahindra, ZEE Network, and Housefull International, building a strong foundation across manufacturing, media, insurance broking and consumer-facing sectors. This diverse experience has contributed to her ability to manage complex, multi-location workforces and balance business growth with people-centric practices.
Chitnis’ expertise lies in talent management, hiring strategy, employee engagement, organisational development, rewards and HR compliance. Her leadership approach is grounded in aligning HR strategy with business outcomes, while creating environments where performance and employee well-being reinforce each other.
