Tata Digital has appointed Snigdha Singh as its chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective 1 July, 2026, making her one of the youngest C-suite leaders in the Tata Group’s digital business. She joins the Executive Leadership Team and will report to Sajith Sivanandan, CEO and managing director, leading the company’s people strategy as Tata Digital sharpens its focus on financial services and digital transformation.

In her new role, Singh will oversee the people function, driving talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, culture, leadership development, and workforce transformation as the company strengthens its leadership team.

Singh joins Tata Digital from Tata Consumer Products, where she served as vice president – human resources, leading organisation effectiveness, culture, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and employee relations. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping culture, organisational capability, and people practices across the business.

Prior to that, she spent nearly five years at OYO, progressing through the roles of director, assistant vice president, and vice president – human resources. In her most recent role, she led the company’s Global Rewards and Mobility Centre of Excellence across India, the US, the UK, Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, while also heading HR for OYO’s international markets and businesses, including Weddingz, Workspaces, Student Housing, and Luxury and Upscale Hotels. Her experience managing HR through periods of rapid growth and organisational complexity is expected to support Tata Digital’s next phase of transformation.

Earlier, Singh spent over five years with Cipla, where she led the HR function for the company’s respiratory business across North India, Uttar Pradesh, and the eastern region.

She began her professional career with Procter & Gamble, where she worked for over three years in HR roles across manufacturing operations. She also completed early career assignments and internships with Tata Motors, Godrej Industries, ABN AMRO, and HPCL, gaining exposure to talent management, organisational development, change management, and HR systems.

An alumna of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Singh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
